LogHom Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
The short version: your home's information stays on your iPhone. LogHom has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. We do not collect, sell, or share your data, because we never see it.
What LogHom stores, and where
Everything you put into LogHom (properties, items, photos, scanned documents, notes, reminders, contacts, and vehicle details) is stored in a local database on your device. It is protected by your device's built-in encryption, and by Face ID if you enable App Lock.
On-device intelligence
LogHom's smart features run entirely on your iPhone using Apple's frameworks:
- Text recognition (reading model plates and scanned documents) uses Apple's Vision framework, on-device.
- Ask LogHom uses Apple Intelligence's on-device language model. Your questions and records are never sent to a server.
- Voice notes are transcribed on-device using Apple's speech recognition.
What leaves your device
- Weather: to show current conditions for a property, its coordinates are sent to Apple's WeatherKit service. This request is handled by Apple, is not linked to your identity by LogHom, and is not stored by us (we have nowhere to store it).
- Exports, backups, and shares you initiate: when you export a Property Packet PDF or a backup file, or share content through the iOS share sheet, that data goes only where you send it.
- Calendar and notifications: if you enable them, reminders are written to your device's calendar and notification system. They stay in your Apple ecosystem under Apple's privacy terms.
Permissions LogHom asks for
Camera (scanning documents and model plates), Photo Library (attaching photos), Microphone and Speech Recognition (voice notes), Face ID (App Lock), and Calendar (reminder sync). Each is optional and requested only when you first use the feature.
Analytics and tracking
None. LogHom contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Children
LogHom is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
